About Us

Eighteen years of opening doors that stay open

We design and deliver international immersion and executive learning programmes for the world's leading business schools, corporations, governments, and institutions. Not tours with lectures attached: learning experiences built around executive access, delivered to one standard everywhere we operate.

Our Story

It started on an immersion, not in a boardroom

Our co-founders, both EMBA graduates, met in China on an immersion programme and recognised the same thing: the week abroad was the part of the degree that changed how people thought. Everything else was preparation for it.

They built Legacy Ventures to do that one thing exceptionally well. What began with three destinations and a handful of partner schools is now a global operation: 1,700+ programmes delivered across 60+ destinations for more than 40 of the world's leading business schools, alongside a growing executive practice serving corporations, governments, and institutions.

The best way to understand how business really works is to sit across the table from the people doing it.

That conviction has not changed since day one. Every programme we design starts with a learning objective and ends with access no cohort could arrange on its own.

Sustainability

Travel that has to earn its footprint

International education means flying, and we will not pretend otherwise. Our commitment is that every programme justifies its impact: through what it teaches, with sustainability as a core theme across our destination network; through how it operates, including voluntary carbon offsetting with our partner Climate Care; and through who it benefits, with local suppliers and communities designed into every itinerary.

We hold no certification we have not earned and claim no target we have not costed. Our full position, including what we do today and what we are building towards, is stated plainly on our sustainability page.

Safety & Risk Management

The part of the job nobody sees when it works

Group travel carries a duty of care that does not board the plane home. Our risk architecture is designed for the people who have to answer for it: programme directors, deans, HR and security leads, and the insurers behind them.

  • Destination risk assessment before any programme is proposed, reviewed against current travel advisories
  • Vetted supplier network with established relationships, not one-off bookings
  • Insurance architecture structured to meet institutional requirements, including primary and excess layers
  • 24/7 on-ground support with named contacts and escalation protocols for every programme
  • Contingency planning built into every itinerary, including tested cancellation and recovery procedures
